Sheet Metal/HVAC Mechanic 3-Month Contract COMPANY PROFILE: • Established in 1969, organization has been industry leaders in commercial and institutional construction services • Has over 700 completed projects under their belt in areas of plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning and engineering services • Consistently providing the most cost-effective construction solution in plumbing and mechanical systems • Delivering unparalleled services in multiple states – Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana to name a few THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: Sheet Metal/HVAC Mechanic • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair HVAC sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. • May include setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammer operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces. • Fabricate and install HVAC ducts- rough to finish • Planning and laying out sheet metal work from blueprints, models or specifications BACKGROUND PROFILE: Sheet Metal/HVAC Mechanic • Must have minimum of 3-4 years of Commercial experience • Must own your own basic trade tools • Must be able to read, interpret, and follow prints or technical drawings • Must have a valid Driver's License • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. • Applicant is subject to a background check (Government Security Clearance) • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
