Rite Hite has developed a Service Technician Apprentice Program. One the candidate is hired, they would spend 2-3 weeks in the field meeting customers and learning about daily job duties. Following this introductory period, you'll spend two weeks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the Apprentice Training Program. In addition to learning about Rite-Hite products, you'll gain mechanical, electrical and safety knowledge such as: Basic mechanical skills including welding, crane usage, and hydraulics. Basic electrical skills including troubleshooting, testing, safety, and volt/amp meter usage. The safe and proper use of equipment such as a scissor lift and the proper safety procedures when in use. Basic core mechanic skills and knowledge with a final task assessment at the end of the program. The training program takes place at the Rite Hite Technical Training Center. You will need to provide steel toed boots and dickie work pants or jeans with no holes. All other PPE equipment will be provided on site as well as all tools used during the program. Once you complete training, you will then be assigned to customer's facilities out in the field.
