Mechanic Job in Luverne, Minnesota

The purpose of this position is to operate the plant and produce quality products by executing all standard operating procedures within parameters to achieve plant production goals. Requirements include: • Ability to Work 12 hour work days and flexible shifts • Must be able to perform confined space entry • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs • Working in a team oriented environment • Analyzing and developing solutions to problems • Developing and maintaining positive customer rapport • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products • Self-starter, able to identify errors or areas for improvement, provide recommendations and follow through to completion • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Responsibilities include: • Responsible for knowing and operating all processes associated with plant • Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times • Learn and operate DCS (Computer control system) for the plant • Follow procedures for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning and batching • Maintain accurate and timely logs • Respond to collected data and make adjustments to optimize plant operations • Maintain cleanliness of plant facilities • Run quality control testing on product streams • Notify responsible parties of production problems contact [email protected] with your resume.
