Greetings, Mobile mechanic with extensive Diesel (VW, Cummins, Detroit, Ford, and Kubota experience), as well as all VW and BMW experience. I can do the small stuff like change alternators, axles, brakes, turbo swaps as well as all the advanced work like head gaskets, transmission swaps, and engine rebuilding. I have the factory AND dealer software for BMWs (1990-20...) and comparable software for VWs that many independent mechanics do not have, which covers not only the engine, but the transmission, ABS and much more. I also have generic software that can service all 96 makes and models. VW specific: Timing belt change, parts and labor, includes new water pump: $450 and up Custom TDI tunes such as software EGR deletes: $70 and up VW keys programmed up to 2005 (I can program the key immobilizers) $50 Instrument cluster programming: $50 and up I specialize in fixing hard to diagnose problems. I have extensive electronics (and some programming) experience, which is a must for today's vehicles. I also service heavy equipment, including engines, hydraulic systems, and replacing track or bucket pins. *I machine and heat treat custom equipment pins out of tool steel for a fraction of the cost of the dealer!* I also service boats, particularly inboard or inboard outboard engines.
