Mechanic Job in Tucker, Georgia

Job Duties and Responsibilities • Diagnose repairs and overhaul engines, transmissions, carburetors, differentials, brakes, mechanical components, electrical and fuel systems, etc. for vintage automobiles. • Adjust or repair hydraulic systems and components. • Identify all parts necessary to complete a service project; order parts including those that are difficult to locate. • Restore interior upholstery. • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. • Owning and maintaining tools required to complete projects Qualifications • Must be eighteen years or older. * Must be US Citizen • 5 years of similar experience • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. • Preferred: ASE Certification Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies • Knowledge of vintage cars. • Skills – Effective communication, basic computer skills and customer service. • Abilities- Able to lift 40lbs and handle multiple objects. • Experience working with vendors, car parts and strong customer service skills.
