Mechanic Job in Garland, Texas

I'm an
Individual
I have a 2004 Mercedes SL600, it has very low mileage, but several electronic and mechanical issues I need help fixing. I know there are many ways to approach a Mercedes repair (Dealers and the German focused shops tend to lean toward the most expensive options). Well informed Mercedes mechanics, are able to utilize some of the knowledge in the Mercedes communities (MBworld, BenzWorld, etc), and provide much more economical approaches to a fix. For instance, I had the common issue with the flaps not closing on the Vario-Roof, therefore the roof would stop closing, you had to push the flap in physically to get it to close the rest of the way. The repair is actually a replacement of 2 parts (1 for each flap) utilizing a much improved part. Part cost was about 50 shipped, and it took about 2-3 hours to fix. The dealer wanted $1400 to do the fix and they described it as very involved. So if you're a well informed Mercedes mechanic and are interested in being a go-to-guy for my SL, I would like to get to work with you asap! Car has 25,400 miles. Issues I'm dealing with on the car are as follows: 1. SRS light and dash notification is on - don't know what's triggering that. Some say there are connectors that come loose, and cause the system to throw the code and the notification. 2. Nav/Radio won't come on. Probably just a fuse, or a code that has disabled it. 3. Driver window won't 'auto-open' - y'know how the windows will slightly open to allow the door to open and then they auto close to seal. For some reason, the window doesn't do the 'down' cycle. Only the up cycle. 4. The extra seat features don't work. All the features in the front left of the seat don't do anything. 5. The distonic cruise control does nothing. 6. In warm weather the ABC suspension warning comes on and disables the air suspension. It doesn't seem to do that during cold weather. 7. The vario-roof completely stopped working, and is currently stuck down and the trunk partially closed. This is probably the most critical first fix we need to do ASAP. 8. I have a set of suspension lowering links I would like to have installed. It's supposed to be a very simple process, but the removal of the current ones makes me nervous as I don't want to break anything. Thanks for your interest and response!!
