Mechanic Job in Novi, Michigan

The PIC Group is seeking to fill Mechanic positions in Novi, MI. Duties and Responsibilities: • Proven record of Workmanship, Professionalism, Team Player • Reviewing work orders and discussing with co-workers or supervisors • Inspecting motors in operation, road testing vehicles and testing automotive systems and components using electronic/computer or other testing devices to diagnose problems and isolate faults • Adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems including fuel, brake, steering and suspension systems • Able to perform services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications • Advising customer on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements • Knowledge of scanning and diagnosing automobiles using computer would be an asset • Comply with relevant local Health and Safety legislation Qualifications: • Highly developed mechanical knowledge • Complete dismantling skills • Valid driver's license • Hi-lo experience is a bonus • Previous supervisory experience an asset • Certified mechanic technician preferred • Computer literate • Strong organizational skills • Must be able to work outdoors • Physically capable of lifting and moving items 50 lbs • Must have own tools ABOUT PIC, A TRIGO COMPANY For over 30 years, PIC has remained the leading provider of full-service quality solutions, servicing the automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industries throughout the United States, Canada and most recently, Mexico.
