My family and I are looking to relocate to Florida this September. Below is my experience. Indepth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance, tire repairs, marine maintenance, hydraulics and diesel engines. Stick and Mig welding, Service and repair several types of hydraulic power units, generators, compressors, valves and engines. Certified to operate 3 to 45K forklifts. First Responder, hazmat certification, USCG boat operator license. DOD security clearance. Hydraulic - Diesel Mechanic May 2008 - present 20.28 hr, 40 hours/week - ESSM/GPC Cheatham Annex - Williamsburg, VA Provide pollution control on oil spills and ship salvage recovery as well as the repair and maintenance for the U.S. Navy, Army and Coast Guard. Inspect, test, repair, maintain and operate a variety of electric motors, boats, pumps, hydraulics, gages, compressors, valves and diesel engines, to include marine applications and the removal and repair of hydraulic power units, generators, tractor trailers, dump trucks, Inspect and test circuitry on equipment. Interpret verbal instructions from supervisors to ensure repairs are performed. Maintain various underwater salvage and pollution equipment. Schedule repairs, maintain work orders and records, parts requisitions, and inventory. Automotive Technician - State Inspector May 2005 - May 2008 18.... hr, 50 hours/week - Hutchens Chevrolet - Newport News, VA Performed state inspections and all preventive maintenance and repairs such as. replacing engines and transmissions, brakes, radiators, tires, axles and four wheel alignments.
