Mechanic Job in Glen Burnie, Maryland

Mercier's has been in business since 1978. We are located close to BWI airport off of Dorsey Road. We have a full time Monday through Friday day position for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The mechanic is responsible for repair and maintenance of light, medium and heavy diesel trucks and medium and heavy equipment. Candidate must have experience in all aspects of repairs. This position requires skills necessary to diagnose, analyze and repair commercial trucks and heavy duty equipment. Must be familiar with safety and DOT regulations. Keep vehicles operational by following operating instructions and troubleshooting breakdowns. Candidate must have 2 years of verifiable work experience in the heavy equipment mechanic field. Must have own tools, have the ability to work independent and as part of a team. Must pass DOT physical, drug test, MVA background check and criminal background check.
