Job Description Master Automotive Technician Our highly skilled AAA automotive team is passionate about helping our members with their automotive needs. If providing safety and peace of mind in all things automotive is a fulfilling opportunity for you, then our AAA Automotive Team would like to get to know you. We have been in the automotive maintenance and repair business for over ten years and Emergency Roadside Assistance for over 100 years. We currently have over 33 AAA Car Care Centers and Towing services located throughout North Carolina and South Carolina and we’re still growing! Primary Function: The AAA Automotive Technician must be able to accurately diagnose major automotive repairs while as also working at a high level of efficiency and productively. These major repairs could include engine, transmission, electrical, air conditioning and heating, etc. Essential Responsibilities: · Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy · Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair · Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended · Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time · Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order · Explains diagnoses to clients and employees on an as needed basis · Perform other duties as assigned Req_Requirements Required Skills, Abilities and Knowledge: · 2 years experience repairing autos/trucks at dealership or automotive center · Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools and technical resources · Requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks · Excellent diagnostic skills · Exceptional customer service skills · Ability to prioritize and deliver work on time · Some ASE certifications, or ability to pass exam · High School diploma or equivalent · Possess own tools for use in the shop · Valid driver’s license · Open to working on Saturdays Qualifications: · Open to working on Saturdays · No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 3 years · No felony convictions within the past 10 years · Must have a valid Driver’s license and be able to pass a MVR background check Delivering value, safety, and total peace of mind every day is not just our business, it’s our purpose.
