Mechanic Job in Oakville, Ontario

Caravan Group of Companies., located at 2284 Wyecroft Road, Oakville ON, is looking for tractor trailer mechanics. This is a full-time, permanent position, 44 hours per week, $23.50/hr, with company benefits. Completion of technical training, 5 years or more experience required. Main duties will include: inspect and test mechanical units such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems, to located faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings to determine whether to repair or replace unit. Repair mechanical units or components using hands and power tools, test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance, complete reports to record problems at work and work performed.
