Mechanic Job in Chesterfield, Virginia

The dashboard indicator reads code 54. I've already replaced the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft sensor. There is also a short somewhere that prevents the dashboard gauge lights from coming on that is also draining the battery. I'm currently stumped as to what is preventing the engine from fully starting other than the fuel pump or the computer itself.
