Mechanic Job in Smyrna, Tennessee

Tomlin Automotive Group is looking for the right Service Technician to join our family!! We are a locally owned and operated business that has been serving the Smyrna/LaVergne community for over 25 years. We offer a great work environment, friendly coworkers, weekends off, and excellent pay. This will be a full time position. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled technician who has experience working on domestic and foreign cars. Industry certifications are appreciated. Responsibilities will include: 1. Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership rules. 2. Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc 3. Communicating with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Job Requirements are: 1. Must have experience as an auto technician 2. Ability to follow written instructions and information 3. Knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance 4. Excellent Customer Service Skills 5. Team Player 6. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 7. Maintain his stall in an orderly and clean manner 8.
