Mechanic Job in Washington, District of Columbia

There are two problems. Need a mobile First one that came up last fall is a petcock valve that leaks gasoline. It's either the valve itself or the tubing that runs from the valve to the carb (I think it's the carb). I have a replacement valve but am in need for the tube. Second problem is that the motorcycle is dead due to either a dead battery or starter. Not sure how to diagnose this problem and have run out of energy and patience. The motorcycle is located in the garage of my apartment complex with plenty of space to work with.
