2004 Kia Amanti- started up car, made a sputter sound but did not shut off. Put car in drive and sputter began again and the RPM needle kept going up and down. Drove around the block, it acted like it was going to shut off; made it back to the house and haven't started it up since, that was almost 2 weeks ago. Just purchased car in August, I noticed engine light was on; haven't had a chance to schedule a diagnostic on car. Hope nothing major, hope it's just needing a tune up.
