Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily, intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks on turbine and turbofan powered airplanes. Maintain company aircraft in accordance with FAR 43, FAR 91, FAR 135, Manufacturers Maintenance Manuals, and other approved/accepted data. Participate in the support of our aircraft fleet after hour’s maintenance on call during the week, weekends and holidays. Perform excellent quality work in accordance with Company Manual procedures, manufacturer’s data, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Maintain accurate and timely paperwork including AAIP work forms, maintenance documents, and parts tags as work is completed. Follow proper QA procedures. Determine the correct and accurate part numbers to be used for replacement parts. Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks, breaks, or leaks. Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories. Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems Test engines and system operations using test equipment and listen to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions. Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects. Reads and interprets aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Qualifications Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate. Possess honesty, integrity and a commitment to maintaining safe compliant aircraft. Requires the ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and on-call during the month. Possesses sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to travel occasionally. Preferred Qualifications: Current FAA Inspection Authorization. 3-5 years minimum A&P experience
