Eugene Sand & Gravel www.....com -- Search Job Requisition # 91565 -- Apply Online! Position Summary: Coordinate and assist with repairs, rebuilds and maintenance on company trucks and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: •Coordinate with Shop Foreman on repair, scheduling, job priority and employee relations. •Communicate with customer service about truck availability etc. •Direct maintenance employees to specific work according to their skill and ability and provide assistance. •Ability to manage and process electronic time cards and other computer management programs as requested. •Direct scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance and prioritize work. •Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects. •Communicate with drivers and operators about repairs needed. •Dismantle and re-assemble equipment using appropriate tools. •Ability to perform welding, cutting, etc. •Report misuse or abuse of equipment to the Equipment Manager and equipment operator supervisors. •Assure implementation of company employment policies. •Maintain the team spirit with all departments of Eugene Sand & Gravel. •Ability to lead and maintain a safe work environment and uphold company safety policies. Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent, and five years fleet equipment experience required. Diesel engine and heavy equipment mechanical knowledge required. Good communication and supervisory skills required. Proficiency in multiple computer/web based programs including Cat ET, Cummins Insight, and Detroit preferred.
