Mechanic Job in Brooklyn, New York

Hello. I own a 1987 Chevy Astro Van that's in excellent condition. The van lived in Colorado for 28 years, where they don't salt the roads in the winter. Like many states around the country, Colorado uses magnesium chloride on the roads for environmental concerns and it's also great for cars and trucks because it doesn't cause the rust and rot that salt does. I've owned the van for 5 years and I've taken great care of it, along with the help of my long-time mechanic. However, he's getting old and tired, and a little cranky, so I'm looking for another mechanic. I can not afford the exorbitant labor rates being charged by shops today - anywhere between $100 and $150/hr. However, I'm willing to pay an honest, intelligent and skilled mechanic a fair rate. At the moment, I need someone to look at my brakes to make sure everything is in order and adjusted properly. I'm also in need of some front end work, which will lead to new tires and an alignment. I will run gladly supply the parts need for the job at hand. I live in Brooklyn and would like to stay fairly close to home, if possible. Please contact me if you're willing to help. Thank you.
