I have a 2000 VW Beetle that just stopped going forward or backward. Lent it to a friend that didn't know how to drive a stick shift very well. When I got it back, it started up fine and then got slower and slower (no matter what gear I put it in). Then it just stopped. It still starts up fine, it just won't move! Not sure what the problem is. Trying to find out on Google isn't helpful. I've read it could be about 100 different things. Really just hoping for a reliable, honest mechanic to tell me what's wrong with it and to fix it. Thank you!!!
