Mechanic Job in Houston, Texas

Position Summary: Performs daily preventive and repair maintenance of trucks. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for on-going maintenance and evaluation of truck equipment Maintains adequate inventory of parts and supplies at all times Follows established procedures to ensure that the trucks for which he/she is working with is in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and requirements Confers with Management and other personnel to resolve problems, provide immediate feedback, and recommend solutions to improve performance Promotes safety within his/her assigned territory Performs other duties as assigned Educational/Technical: High school degree or equivalent Mechanical Experience Must have own tools
