Mechanic Job in Jackson, Mississippi

Maintains and repairs Sysco vehicles and refer units; performs related duties. Diagnose and repair the following systems, engines (gas diesel and liquefied natural gas), electrical, hydraulic and refrigeration. Perform major overhauls to engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulic lifts along with accessories and components. Stay current with technical manuals, literature and technical advancements of the trade as it pertains to company owned equipment. May instruct all other positions within the trade. Maintain logs, charts, records, etc., as required to accomplish assignments. Inspect and fully and accurately analyze completed repairs. Completes repairs of vehicles and components in full compliance with state safety regulations. Uses computerized equipment and systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and navigates tractor and trailer manufacturer's software for diagnostic codes.
