Art & Speed Classic Car Gallery in Collierville, TN sells the finest vintage and exotic cars from the early 1900’s, to early 20’s and 30’s street rods, from classic cars of the 40’s and 50’s to 60’s and 70’s muscle cars, as well as modern performance and exotic cars. Nearly every car we consign for sale begins with mechanical issues that need to be addressed before a sale can be completed. Some cars need troubleshooting and repair for brake issues. Others have suspension system troubles, floor pan rust, or mysterious electrical grounds. Many of our buyers want to their upgrade cars after purchase. This includes disc brake conversions, engine and transmission swaps, and our most common request here in the mid-south - the addition of vintage air conditioning. Job Requirements You might be the person we’re looking for if: * You are skilled at working on vintage cars without computer diagnostic tools. * You are able to perform partial to complete brake jobs for drums and discs. * You are able to install vintage air conditioning. * You are willing to learn from and be guided by experienced mechanics. * You are able to work well supervised and unsupervised. * You can drive vehicles with any type of manual transmission. * You demonstrate close attention to detail in your work. * You have a reputation for working with excellence. * You have demonstrated mechanical aptitude and mechanical problem solving ability.
