JOB DESCRIPTION: • Automotive technician performs work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and standards • Automotive Transmission mechanics diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, manual and automatic transmissions, etc. • Perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing technology • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Be a certified technician with at least 1 year experience • Be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies • Be a persistent problem solver • Hold a valid driver’s license • Have ability to pass a Drug and Background Check (if requested by employer) • Be reliable and provide legitimate references • Be team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. ABOUT US: We want our service department to be as efficient as our vehicles.
