Mechanic Job in Jamaica, New York

I have a 2002 Dodge ram b1500 van that won't start sitting in my driveway and I want to give it one last shot at life before i just junk it. I'm pretty sure its a spark plug issue, but I've had a few mechanics look at it already (quite lazily) and all they can tell me is that it's either an engine computer issue (I just a new reprogrammed onethe ) and that the problem is electrical and would require some serious work. prior to this, the Van was running fine except for a slight lag in acceleration, that wouldn't always happen. it would completely go away for a few days after a refuel and some foam. then suddenly just start happening again. i took it to the mechanic to be serviced, he changed the spark plugs, drove it for a little bit, killed it and it has been in my driveway ever since...
