Mechanic Job in Los Angeles, California

I just had an oil change last week as I thought this would fix the weird knocking noise under the hood but it didn't I has gotten worse. My truck began making weird knocking noised last Thursday. I had my oil changed on Friday but its gotten worse. Now there's smoke coming from under the hood and the knocking noise continues. It turns off also, so I stopped driving it. The Vavoline mechanics told me I need a coil on the gasket. Vavoline could not locate the transmission fluid container. They said it must be under the hood. At this point, I would rather have someone ASE certified take a look at it and tell me if this truck is worth repairing.
