Business Address: 166 Draper Road, Fort McMurray AB, T9H 5N4 Work Location: Different locations in the Fort McMurray AB area Type of Employment: Full time–Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job duties: • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work • Service attachments and working tools • Verify and repair emission control systems • Instruct apprentices • Order parts and maintain inventory • Keep maintenance reports and documentation • Attach components and adjust new equipment • Perform repair work on heavy Mining trucks, Hydraulic Shovels, Large Dozers, Large Graders Requirements -Education: Completion of secondary school is required -Experience: Trade certificate is required. In regards to the experience, we require only the necessary experience to be certified. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Salary: $50.00 to $51.00 Hourly, 70-84 Hours per week Benefits: Extended medical, disability and dental insurance provided. Important information: Overtime is required for this position. Workday may last up to 10 to 12 hours. 14 days on and 14 days off schedule.
