Categorized under truck repair and services, we repair heavy equipment, engine transmissions, differentials, etc. Business Address: Unit 2, 131 Savage Drive, Cambridge, ON, N1T 1S5 Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time–Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job duties: • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work • Service attachments and working tools • Verify and repair emission control systems • Keep maintenance reports and documentation • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment • Perform repair work on heavy trucks Requirements - Education: Completion of secondary school is required - Experience: Minimum three years of experience is required - Occasional overtime and weekend work are required - Driving license is an asset Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; Handling heavy loads Salary: $26.00 to $28.50 Hourly, 44 Hours per week Benefits: Disability insurance, dental insurance, pension, extended medical insurance and uniforms are provided Important information: Work schedule: 8-9 hours per day.
