Mechanic Job in Winnipeg, Manitoba

I am looking for a mechanic who can safety my car...it passed the Ontario safety regulations but directly due to different regulations in Manitoba (I checked and found out that the car would pass inspection in every Provence but BC and MB but due to b having public insurance they failed it directly due to the difference in regulations) The car, a 2001 Chevy with 81000 kls is in top shape without a mark on it. The drive train is in top shape and the body is spotless.... I am a retired senior who just got out of the hospital after going through triple bypass heart surgery. Needing a reliable car and using my last cent on buying this car (first making sure that it would pas the safety which it did in Ontario...little did I know that the safety certification from Ont. would not be excepted in Manitoba) well to say the least I have been left destitute...any assistance regarding this matter would be greatly welcomed.
