Mechanic Job in Euless, Texas

I'm an
Individual
The AMF Facility Manager is our resident Mr. (or Ms.) Fix-It, responsible for the day-to-day technical integrity of the center and all its equipment. The Facility Manager makes sure that our pinsetters/pinspotters, automatic scoring machines, lanes, and all other facility equipment operate at peak efficiency and assists with the planning and budgeting that’s involved with all center repairs and upgrades. Facility Managers act as watchdogs and guardians for their centers—constantly monitoring and suggesting improvements to the facility and its equipment in an effort to improve performance and reduce costs. The Facility Manager takes special care to routinely monitor and maintain the center’s roof, as well as its HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life/safety systems, and other building systems. When equipment does malfunction, it’s up to the Facility Manager to identify the problem(s), suggest repairs to/replacements for the equipment, and solicit final approvals from General Managers or District Managers. While they do perform maintenance and repair work, Facility Managers are also responsible for administrative operations such as scheduling staff, ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and policies (including OSHA safety practices/procedures), and obtaining bids for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs. In addition to these key tasks, the Facility Manager also works to improve and update the existing inventory system and takes steps to ensure that this inventory is kept current. Perhaps one of the Facility Manager’s most important responsibilities though, is his/her role in developing new talent. To do this, the Facility Manager works with the GM to hire, train, and support the center’s roster of B- and C-Mechanics. Facility Managers train our mechanics in safety procedures and in operating standards that apply to bowling equipment, building maintenance, and other preventative maintenance programs. Our Facility Managers work a variety of shifts (including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays). They’re solid communicators who possess a highly developed sense of customer service and have about 2 years of related experience under their tool belts. Ready to roll with the best? Apply today and see if you’ve got what it takes!
