The responsibilities of a Trailer Mechanic/Technician are: • Perform routine and preventative maintenance, inspections, service, and repairs on refrigerated van type trailers. • Diagnosing failures and making repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a trailer • Removal or replacement of assemblies such as springs, axles, landing gear, and brakes, etc. • Ability to weld, including aluminum • Other duties may be assigned.
