Mechanic Job in Greensboro, North Carolina

Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC systems and their components. Knowledge of electrical / electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and apply skills in restoring equipment to operational status. Provide skilled mechanical and electrical / electronic support to all areas of operations. Roles and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment. Perform maintenance on motors, transformers, generators, electronic controllers, and other related electrical devices Plan and preform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical / electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specification, local and National Electrical Code, and properties of various materials Use blueprints, schematics, and the National Electrical Code to install, modify, upgrade and maintain circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, machines and other related equipment. Install conduit, pull wire, install power panels and electrical services where required in accordance with the National Electrical Code and company directives Assist engineers and other maintenance personnel in the design and improvement of plant machines Install, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical / electronic and mechanical equipment and components Performs corrective and preventive maintenance functions as directed Assist other maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting of production and facility machinery and equipment Assist other maintenance, production and/or technical level employees Perform other duties as required
