Mechanic Job in Miami, Florida

Looking for experienced Fleet Truck Mechanic – Miami, FL (Medley Area) Description Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor power equipment. (Kenworth, Freightliner, Peterbuilt etc). Must be familiar with all types of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brakes and other basic components. Knowledge of Intermodal Container and Chassis equipment. Must work well and communicate effectively with company drivers, owner operators and management staff. Requirements • Must have Class A CDL license with clean record. • Must have mechanic’s certification to perform FHWA Inspections • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance with proven troubleshooting skills • Must be Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) • Must be self-sufficient with won tools and willing to work in the outdoors environment. • Experience in diesel engines, chassis and container repairs. • Experience with split ring tires. • Willing to work scheduled shift and call in hours. • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
