Mechanic in Henderson, Nevada

My name is Jay. I am a skilled and certified automotive technician, who works for a big, reputable and national corporation. Every day I see people forced to ignore safety and mechanical concerns because they can't afford the costly maintenance and repairs that their vehicle requires. I can empathize because I couldn't afford these same services and repairs if I didn't do them myself. On average shops charge upwards of $100 per labor hour, and thats not including mark up on parts. I hate to see this happen and cant , for fear of losing my job, offer to do it for less. So I've posted this profile. I am an ASE certified automobile technician, currently pursuing my advanced level certification. I also hold and maintain my Nevada emissions (smog) license. I've been in and out of the industry for about 12 years. It was originally just a hobby. However after leaving the U.S. ARMY, where I was a helicopter mechanic, I went to school for 3 years to study modern automotive technology. After graduating I decided to make it a career.
