Mechanic in Greenwood, Nova Scotia

I am currently looking for full-time employment as an apprentice mechanic between Bridgetown and Kentville. I'm currently completing my work placement at Bruce ford in Middleton. I will be available for full-time work on June 2, 2014. I will be graduating on June 14, 2014 from the Automotive Service and Repair Program through the Nova Scotia Community College, Kingstec and will obtain my Automotive Service Technician Trade Certificate. I'm also a graduate of the Tractor-Trailer Program from the Foundation Career College in 2009. The work experiences I have had over the years have strengthened my ability to adapt to new environments and work quickly and efficiently. I am able to drive automatic and manual shifting vehicles. I am competent at making proper adjustments according to manufacturers specifications, doing repairs or replacing parts, and performing regular maintenance. I'm able to explain current and/or future work with customers. I am comfortable reviewing progress and/or completed work with my co-worker and supervisors. I am used to organizing, documenting, following work orders and adhering to deadlines. I am used to heavy lifting and using proper body mechanics. I have a valid class 1 license and have my own transportation. I have completed training in First-Aid including defibrillator, WHMIS, OH&S and Transportation of Dangerous Goods. I am comfortable working with recent windows versions and their supporting software. I'm willing to learn and gain more knowledge of the trade and would like to become a part of your team.
