▪ HVAC/R Skills- Maintenance, operation, and inspections of forced air steam and hydronic boilers and the accompanying systems; Universal EPA certification; Cooling tower maintenance; Knowledge of building EMS systems-including ALC, Niagra and TAC; Relocating and cleaning air vents and ducting; Knowledge of building HVAC control systems-including air handlers, VAV and Fan power box, and associated controls ▪ Electrical Skills- Lighting; Replacing fixtures; Wiring of small electrical devices; Preventative maintenance; Installing pumps and motors; Troubleshooting and installing electrical circuits-including motor controls; Reading wiring diagrams, blueprints, and ladder diagrams ▪ Plumbing Skills- Preventative maintenance and installation of pumps; Sweating copper pipe; Repairing plumbing fixtures, valves, and piping ▪ Equipment Inspections- Daily equipment tour, including boiler/chiller/air handler inspections; Fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance; Emergency eye wash/shower inspections ▪ Security- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain security and CCTV systems.
