Mechanic in Dorr, Michigan

Hi, my name is J. I'm originally from Plainfield, IL but I moved out to Michigan to attend school at Hope College. I bought a house in Dorr (20 miles south of GR) right before graduation in May, 2016. I have done almost everything under the sun (or under the hood) and dealt with some pretty tough jobs. I don't have an engine hoist but I can do just about anything else. I'm obviously most comfortable with the easy stuff like engine accessories, brakes, or a wheel bearing. Being in Michigan, the suspension can be a little testy with all the rust holding it together; I'm certainly comfortable with the work though, having rebuilt an entire suspension front-to-back. Unfortunately I can't do tires. If you need struts done, you will have to purchase "quick-struts" that have the shock attached as well. I can tow any front wheel drive car or I can come out to you. I'm in Holland/Zeeland every day for work and I know a decent mechanic in Holland who is more available as well. Since I can only work on your car nights and weekends, larger jobs (more than 3 hours) will take a few days.
