I have 10 years experience in diesel, and have worked on gasoline vehicles as well. I can come to you, check out the vehicle, and in most cases let you know what's wrong/what needs repaired. You pay for parts (unless there's a specific brand you are looking for they will be the cheapest I can find with a warranty on the part), and labor fees are negotiable to fit your budget (just not free!). The most common parts I replace are brakes, rotors, calipers, minor suspension work, alternators/generators, starters, water pumps, timing belts, radiators and fans, and occasionally differentials, transmissions, and transfers. Again, unless you specify, all parts installed will have a warranty. There is no warranty on parts procured through junk yards, salvage, or pull n pay yards. (I do not have direct access to military installations, if you need me to take a look at a vehicle on a military installation we will need to set an appointment so I can get the paperwork and/or ride to get onto the installation squared away.)
