Working with the Service Manager and the Assistant Service Manager, you'll move quickly along the learning curve and our clients will benefit from your fresh perspective. The Body Shop Supervisor provides supervision over Body Shop activities and Body Shop technicians to ensure that proper, thorough and expedient repairs are made so that customers are satisfied. We depend on our Supervisors to supervise, train and develop assigned staff creating a team working environment while leading Body Shop technicians. The Body Shop Supervisor will ensure compliance with all required policies and procedures and work with the Body Shop team to meet safety goals. You will also field customer inquiries regarding the status of their vehicle repairs, estimated costs and completion dates. You will have a positive impact on the business by contributing to attainment of Body Shop Department production, quality, customer service and financial objectives. Qualifications: Education: • A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities • Training in Body Shop and estimating required • Additional training in welding is preferred Experience: • A minimum of three years of experience in a Body Shop environment • Skills in employee supervision and personnel administration • Ability to delegate assignments according to business needs • Ability to quote bids • Ability to read instructions, work orders and specifications • Ability to prepare written estimates and write memos • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to listen, communicate effectively and resolve conflict with customers, employees and co-workers • Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task and maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy and attention to detail while meeting deadlines • Microsoft Word and Excel proficient • Ability to work in a high volume fast pace environment with a customer service focus Licenses or Certificates: • A valid CDL license with Class B, air brake endorsement is required Benefits: We know that our employees are critical to our overall success.
